Metal shavings or just sand?

Pulling this out into a separate post because I *would* like another set of eyes on it.

Changed the oil on this car for the first time. It’s about 2k miles and 4 track days since the last one. I had a blackstone analysis done when I upgraded the oil cooler and it came back with elevated aluminum and silicone. Car had wpc treated bearings put in about 30k miles ago. The filter looks like this throughout — black specs that might be sand and these silvery looking ones. They aren’t ferrous.

Is this all sand / dirt or do I have an issue here?

Can't see what the particles are really but sand? Except for bearing shavings the only other thing could be peeling from the valve cover. Doesn't look like either though.

It doesn’t look metallic to me and, as Helmsman stated, it’s definitely not sand. I also agree that it doesn’t look like it came from the coating on the magnesium VCs.
