OC3 -- really nice driving (after you pulled your head out after the two offs), even when viewing on my "not at home" computer running 480p resolution.
Three things I noticed: 1) your suspension has a lot of rear travel! Very nice! How far is it from the upper lip of the wheel to the arch of the fender? b) The permanent marker I have talked about as a visual reference coming through the esses is visible on the far end of the field of view at 4:17 and 5:44-5:45 time marks (two different angles) -- not easy to see via camera, but you'll see it next time you're at BW running CW, and iii) note how dusty running off line is even at the end of the day at 10:10 (three wide pass). Adjust your grip expectations accordingly! Again, really nice job out there OC3.

That p3nis is a map sticker of Spring Mountain track (in Pahrump, NV). A F30 was there at the track, but I don't believe I posted a photo of it? Quote:

Re: rear suspension travel, not sure how far it is (don't feel like walking out to the car and measuring it, lulz), but I did have it lowered a tad a few months ago; plus, softened the rebound setting back there a couple of clicks. Now, I can lay down power leaving apex at certain corners without the car getting all sideways.

The thing you notice immediately is the marked increase in level of grip. The day after running day 1 on all 3 sets of TD's I've run so far, my neck felt sprained a bit (it's a residual effect from a serious car accident a long time ago) and it's from the head snapping left & right as the car shifts direction.
When I review all footages of my videos, you can see it happening as the direction shifts, as well as when there's a bit of a slide, I correct, then the TD's grip/bite and your upper torso & head/helmet snaps the other way. I should get Hans device/tether. I did 2 minute flat in January on NT01 on its 3rd day and the reason why I didn't do 2 full sec's better with TD (despite the car & the tires feeling great) was due to the warm temperature. Wished it was as cool as it was on 02/01.

Hahahah and sorry sound uncomfortable.
Did u find the Nt01 stayed at same levels of grip thru it's wear or got worse? I know the TD loses grip but still considerably very grippy |

NT01's grip definitely stayed somewhat even, and actually a tad better on later days.

Sounded like had a blast as always OC3. Insane video. Now that Fontana and Big Willow is checked off my bucket list, BW is next on that list. On the meantime I'm slowly making arrangements for COTA in march. I'd like to do BW before then. The time attack event Sounds like it's going to be chaos, so I think I'll be doing the speed district event on the 23rd. BW looks bumpy and exciting. I can't wait. It looks like they might be changing the config for most of the remaining events in the year. Lotta excitement in that video, great views as well.

Not sure what you mean by "changing the config for most of the remaining events in the year"? Like 90% of BRP days are the standard 13CW config. Time attack days (other than perhaps GTA) aren't that chaotic (although the RTA on 02/23 might be since it's the first one of 2014 season). Re: COTA, you gonna drive your M3 there or truck it?

I'll be out at BRP next week....Saturday with Speed Trial USA (they have one run group) and then Sunday with Extreme. It'll be the first time I'll be on the track with the roll bar & 6pt harness along with having had the car corner balanced.

I most likely will do Sunday. Regular run sessions on xTA days aren't any different from regular HPDE sessions, so... Quote:
Not sure if the following annual event schedule at Buttonwillow is what you checked, but FYI: http://buttonwillowraceway.com/calendar-of-events/
