It's very hard to get a 12.3 at Cayuga. You can have as much power as you want but launching that power especially with the torque in the N54 engine and the fact that it doesn't have LSD is a bitch. Having some really good rubber and getting them wormed up before the run will increase your chances of not spinning too much in first. It's easy to say easily but in all reality it's very hard

Maybe I've been out of the 335 and 135 scene too long but where is this guy that ran a 11.9 with the same setup with his 135? The 135 doesn't weight much less then the 335.

All this talk about the Turbo's makes me miss my torque. Can't wait for the blower in the M.

I would go but I've got some family coming in from out of town. Come down with us tomorrow man. It's going to be a pretty good night, Wed are usually pretty empty so we'll be able to get in a tone of runs.

Yes the launches are crap, but I'm sure some of these guys are running slicks for the track. As well, I've seen trap times as high as 120mph, so even with a crap launch they are pulling very hard once they hook up...

Here are the times as promised! They were a lot better then we thought! The DA (air density) was high today, and made our runs look a bit off.... I used dragtimes.com calculator to correct out times.

E92 M3 - Best 13.025@109 - Corrected - 12.654@112.271 MPH

E36 M5 - Best 13.510@104.6 - Corrected - 13.125@107.739 MPH

CLS63 - Best 12.775@111.57 - Corrected - 12.411@114.918 MPH

R35 GTR - Best 11.69@124.2 - Corrected - 11.566@125.533 MPH

The R35 never used LC...

Thanks for posting up the times I wish I did 12.6 hehe that would have made my day.

I could have done a little better, the improvements I need to make is changing from 1st to 2nd and to get as little spin as possible in 2nd. Ever since I got my AA short shifter I haven't been able to get use to it.

Had lots of fun, enjoyed watching the GTR rip me a new one with his best run 11.6 when he ran with me. I'll grab the slips from my car soon and post them up.

Its kinda depressing to see the GTR just pulling away so effortlessly, lol... It was a lot of fun nevertheless!

EDIT: It was especially fun to beat those SRT8s, hahaha.

If you can't make, then we will have to leave it for another day. Let me know what works for you. Next Wednesday I can't. But I can on next Friday.

Sucks you couldn't make it down. Would have loved to run against you. Then again since we can't get the right times you could always go down on your own and tell us the time you did

I went down with Dzeno from the board, he's got an all done up 335. He did 12.61 at 109.80mph and I did a 12.92 at 107 mph.

12.92 with a tune??? what was your 60 ft time like, although your trap is low too, you should be trapping 110 i'd think...
