My father picked up those little bose 5.1s back in the day. I'm slowly upgrading. They suck balls. After showing him some quality speakers he was literally ready to throw them away. Bose is nothing but marketing.

this...except the QC3's. those headphones are by far the best travel headphones on the market. QC3's + earplugs = silence on 14 hour flights

well the advantage of them is you can wear em from gate to taxi to takeoff to landing without anyone saying anything. flight attendants don't care.

Also, not many people know, but headphones need to be "broken in". The best way to do that, is to hook them up to a receiver and play white noise through them for about 48-72 hours. They will sound much warmer after that.

Or open iTunes, pick shuffle, let it play over night for a few days.
