Well, maybe I will get moved up...who knows.

I am getting DCT and 19's with my E90 though....lol. Could and up being a '09 ny the time all is said and done. Hell, maybe I will tell them to hold off and just wait for an '09. If it gets delayed to far, I will.

I'm slated for week 24 as well. Sedan, M-DCT + 19s. I have this feeling that things will be delayed!

No no no...let's think positive! Week 24 is ON baby! YEAH! I was looking at my calendar, and by my calculations, week 24 is the week of June 2nd. At least June 2nd is the first workday in the 24th week of the year...so it must be, right?

So I guess we are as early in June as one can expect....that's a good thing! woo hoo. I can hardly wait...I can already hear the enhanced audio blasting in my ears as I carve up some of the local foothill roads....oh yeah!

I'm so jealous of you guys. I have no status change to my order yet and I know my order got put into the system around the same day as yours GT3 Tim (mine went in the system 3/15).

I just e-mailed my CA again to see if there are any updates and let him know I want to do Perf Ctr Delivery. Hopefully I'll hear something good tomorrow.

I just got the reply back from my CA (follows below). Seems like him and the dealer are trying to do their best, but still very frustrating.

Ryan,

Received your e-mail. Don't ever think that you're bothering me. I again
checked today with our June allocation, and your car has not been picked
up yet, nor has anyone else's. You are still first on the list. Bob Graziano
has called the zone today to check on the status of the car. The Zone
Manager has assured him that if it hasn't been assigned a slot yet, he
will make every effort to get us one as soon as possible. If he doesn't
through by Friday, we are going to attempt to trade a slot with another
dealer somewhere in the country.

As to the Spartenburg delivery, we can set this up for you with BMW.
We contact them initially, and then they contact you to set up a
specific delivery date. You must pay for the vehicle approximately
2 weeks in advance of the delivery. We send the license plates,
mats, etc. to them, so that they are on the car when you arrive. They
will arrange for one nights lodging in Spartenburg. All other charges
are your responsibility including driving the vehicle back home.

Please let me know if you have an interest in doing this trip, and
I'll get you more specific information.

I called my CA today and he said that all their recently input allocations were at 111.... but it was unclear. No production date or # for me either.

He's going to check again Friday when the Manager returns and makes some calls.

wonder why some are getting production numbers and build weeks and others aren't? OC told me I'm week 24.

maybe it's an 18" vs 19" wheel issue? I'm waiting for prod number (and slot) for sedan m-dct with 19's. anyone with sedan m-dct and 19's have prod number?

Probably because some dealers have allotments while others don't.

I am ordering an E90 with DCT and 19's and I have a production number.

It sounds like some of the dealers simply do not have allocations yet...thus, they are trying to trade for them. Those of you who cannot work this out with your current dealer may have to look at some other dealers if you cannot/don't want to wait.

I just spoke to my dealer and he said that instead of early June I should have it by end of June/early july. He said something about my car being bumped from May production. Boo!

The wait is simply agonizing. Wish I had a M3 to toss around for fun in the meantime.

I think everything depends on your dealers allocations. If they used it all up then you will have to wait for next build month. I know it is a bummer . Here in central OH, two dealers got an available June allocations for an M3 coupe. My current dealer mentioned to me last week that their May allotment for M3 sedan are still open (2 actually and no takers yet). So I think it is more on your market location. Maybe if you are planning to do a PCD, you can order outside of your state line and just drive it back home from SC.

My dealer also gave me my prod # that starts with 672xxxx but a June build. Ordered it last week. OC is telling me that I am a proud owner of a 2006 525. I called the 800# and the status is awaiting production w/ no confirm date.

OK, $stealer called back to say he has a buildable car, June production, status 111, but for the sedan he cannot select the M-DCT transmission option.... what gives? any clues from those of you with production numbers? have they already used their allocations of M-DCT transmissions for June? is there a trick to put the order in the system? It's been in there for months, but with the 6MT transmission.

Not sure why the DCT option will not show up.

When my dealer was trying to put the order in about 6 weeks ago, he could not select the DCT option, but that was because BMW froze it until June production. Being as they are now allowing dealers to select DCT sedans build in June, I don't know why your dealer can't select it. I doubt the allocation is different 6Mt vs. DCT. A buildable car should be just that, buildable how you want it. So...keep on trying, or consult another dealer. Good luck!

Edit: Although I have the print out from the BMW server via my dealer, the Owners Cricle still will not recognize my production number! The order was accepted by the server a week ago! lol. The 800 number confirms everything, but no Onwers Circle yet. Nice system!

I'm having the same problem with the Owners Circle and not recognizing my production #. I'm set for week 24. My CA said it might be sooner but definitely no later. We'll see about that!
