Intake hole
Has anyone thought about cover the hole on the hood for the intake? i keep thinking with the air that comes in from the bumper and scoops, why would BMW want it to flow through the box and out the hood? Wouldnt it be better staying in the box and ready to get sucked up? I did a search and didnt see anything about it. Just curious.
Intake for sale also.

There is a diagram on here somewhere showing the flow of air through the inbox. That hole is essential; do not cover it. : )

When driving part throttle at highway speeds after the car got wet, you can see water being pressured out of the hole. So I am guessing this outlet allows excess air that is being pushed by the ram intakes to exit the air box, ensuring the air box is always filled with fresh cool air.
