Cheap track setup 18's or 19's that clear BBK

Apologies if this has been asked before but I searched but couldn't find anything. Not looking to spend a fortune on the wheels. What's my best bet here? OEM 19's? VMR's? Requirements are that they have to clear 380mm Brembo BBK and I don't want to use spacers.

Thanks for any insight.

these for 18s? it'll fit a 380mm stoptech but not a 380mm Brembo, I guess unless you have a 365mm kit it wont work..
APEX ARC-8

The NTO3+Ms are great looking wheels. I usually sell them for about $1400 in the 18" size.

Here is a set we installed on a client's E46 M3 track car:

Those new Enkei PF01's look awesome. Ilia, do you know if they make an 18" that would fit over Cashonly's brakes?

I'm actually speaking with Eneki about this now, and should have some fitment info today.

The white set you see on our client's E46 M3 was a set we custom powdercoated to match his car. We could finish them in any color, but they only come in Silver from the factory.

Those are the same general wheel specs as the ARC-8 wheels (18x10" et25). The Enkei NT-03 does NOT clear a 380mm Brembo BBK that is a fact. and I'm almost certain they don't clear the stoptech 380 kit.

Obviously for the OP, neither of these wheels are an option due to his BBK, but I just wanted to clarify that the NT-03 is not an option either.

If you had a smaller BBK, then the ARC-8 is a pound lighter.

I don't believer there is any wheels in 18" that is not fully forged that can clear the brembo 380 kit, and even those wheels are just a few millimeters from touching.

The reality is 380mm BBK's are a street/bling setup because they limit your wheel/tire choices so drastically for a track setup. You're either stuck running one of the Volk wheels, Turner's Forgeline track wheel, or 19" wheels which limits you to only the R888 as a tire choice in r-compounds.

Same thing again. They do not clear a 380mm BBK. They may clear a stoptech 380mm kit, I'm not certain.

I know KINGLEH has stoptechs and am pretty sure he is running either the enkei or the TR Motorsports. Not sure how much difference there is between that kit and the Brembo

There is significant difference, and that I know 100% that neither of those wheels can clear the 380mm Brembo BBK. Only thing I'm not 100% sure about is the stoptech clearance. I designed the ARC-8 wheel, and this was something I researched very thoroughly last year when I did it.

As mentioned there are a couple fully forged 18's out there that can clear that kit. It's not the rotor size that is the issue here, it's that the Brembo caliper itself is not compact compared to calipers made by other manufacturers.

That kit can be cleared with ease. The ARC-8 wheel is a pound lighter then that wheel though, and comes in 4 colors instead of just 1, so you don't have to spend money repainting it if you want something other then silver as discussed above.

Thanks for the info. Like I said I dont' have to have 18's. 19's are fine with me.

Thanks for the offer but unfortunately it sounds like my BBk is too big for the ARC-8's. Do you have them in 18 or 19?

AluFelgen
+1 on the Alufelgen's in 19" as a low cost alternative. They are promising a 10" wheel soon.
