I can't tell if you're being serious when you say it looks like a 335 coupe, or poking fun.

Well, from the rear quarter....it looks like a scaled down badly ripped-off version!

All joking aside, it seems that everyone, even the lowly Focus, is stealing the shadow line, the way the curve of the roof flows to the tail, the seperate tail elements, and even a variation of the Hofmeister kink, no? Of course the 335i is stunning, but everyone wants to copy something the BMW design teams come up with.

nissan was here first

most cars are going to look trikingly similar from that angle, get them on a straight side shot and most show their ugly head (especially that focus its fugly)

arrgghhh it kills how every other car company is bitting BMW's body line, that deep crease along the side of the car... I see it on all of the new models. I.e. this pos, nissan altima, chryslers new lil sedan, and many other.. F*ckn BITERS!!!!!!

All companies steal from each other, even BMW. They just alter what they have taken in order to make a product that will generate revenue. Its good business if you ask me. Just look at Lexus and Honda.

Looks like not many people think it is similar (And I am one of them)... But we could do it the other way around too.

Doesn't the E92's rear en have similarities with an old 240SX?
http://www.mvpmotorsports.com/mercha...sx%5Cpic03.jpg

Or with a Lexus SC400?
http://images.automotive.com/tmpimag...C400-18153.jpg

Everybody copies everybody (Even BMW does it), if not directly, only because there are so many shapes you can come up with for taillights and different body parts.

Wow, it's a dead ringer! If I was BMW I would sue their asses. It's like everything the 335 is for a fraction of the price.
