Scratches on leather! Help!
I scratched the leather on the left side bolster of the driver's seat. .Any suggestions of how to repair it? I found some leather repair kits online but was wondering if anyone has experience using them and what the outcomes are. Thanks

really depends on how bad the scratch is... if its a gash, i dont think you can repair it... but if its just a surface scratch, those kits do help a little to mask the scratch.
think a friend of mine used this before... it's not amazing but it does help quite a bit. http://cgi.ebay.com/Liquid-Leather-N...QQcmdZViewItem

It's not a deep gash but several scratches where you can see small tears on the surface. I wonder how well those "As seen on TV" leather repair kits work? I was checking out www.leatherrepairkits.com and that product at least had color matches. Looked interesting but it's also $50. I also wonder how well these repair hold up since its an area that is constantly rubbed as you enter the car.

Do not use any of the DIY repair kits - it will make it look worse and I am talking from experience. Take it to a professional upholstery repairer and let them do their magic for a couple hundred bucks and the result will be as good as new.

I've got the same issue...in the exact same spot. I believe mine is from the button on the rear pocket of my pants rubbing on that same spot everytime I get in. Once I noticed the scratches I began getting in verrrry carefully. I thought about setting the 2nd seat memory so it pulled the seat all the way back...and then pressing this button each time I got out...and then pressing my normal #1 seat memory right after I get seated - But that seemed too much, so for now I'm just continuing to get in super careful.
