newb looking for information

Hello Everyone,

With my M3 on a boat in the Celtic Sea, I'm interested in going hardcore with the washing and detailing. Is there a forum or website that you guys recommend as a good place to start?

Usually, when I wash my cayman, I just hand wash it and then I put on 3 coats of wax. But then I saw pictures of people blasting their whole car with some type of polish? And then detailing etc.

Thanks for the newb start. And yes I did try to search but I didn't get much luck.

While you can go to places like autopia.org for mass amounts of information, this section of the site will likely be a great help as well with lots of M3 specific detailing information. Start reading through a bunch of the existing threads and I think you'll find most of your initial questions answered.

Oh, and congrat's on the new ride!

If you want to go "Hardcore" we can help..................but be prepared to spend some money with Phil(Detailers Domain & Leo Detail Addict) as once you get the results you might be "Hooked" on keeping your car looking great while still "Driving it as intended".
