He's now being compared to Walt Disney, Edison, and Ford. I still remember the day the iPhone came out, wow! I've never seen such a tech-revolution like it since. It doesn't look like much more time is left for Steve, his appearance is a reflection for how most cancer patients look a couple weeks (or days) prior to passing away. Condolences to his family and him.

yea because there were no devices that did what the iPhone did and MORE the day it came out. no... no that was not it, its just that at the time the majority of americans were still computer and technology illiterate.

I agree. My Nokia N series phones blew the iPhone out of the water.

Nokia is my second favorite phone manufacturer after sony ericsson. My favorite nokia was the 3650 ( the egg shaped at the bottom with the circle keypad, that shit was nice.

Although I do agree with you that the first iPhone was nothing special and same goes for the iPhone 3G. I think what mattered was the fact that the USA actually started getting real smartphones for once because other brands began to notice an emerging market that Apple pretty much opened up (Windows Mobile 6 was fun, but god did it have lots of problems).

Back on topic: RIP Steve Jobs. He was truly an amazing man.
