We were able to fit 255 fronts and 295 rears on Yokohama AD08's which were just fine without spacers... In fact, that same car, we even put spacers on to make it a bit more flush.

Only 10mm spacers up front though, correct? The rears would rub with even the smallest spacers? (I believe this is the car you're referencing: http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=388786)

I agree w/ Malekreza11, I believe biggest tires u could fit would be 265 Front - 285 Rear.

Sorry a bit off-topic here.
Would you get a better lap time on the track if u go with 265/285 tire setup?

Jurrian, while I definitely appreciate you providing feedback for everyone, it is important to mention that that specific tire setup DOES NOT work if you plan to run spacers.

Your customer rubbed with 5mm spacers in the rear and complained of rubbing in the front with a 10mm spacer. Here is his post from another thread:

If you plan to properly space out the zcp wheels (or space them out even slightly), then you can't go ad08. They simply run too wide.

I ran 255/35/19 & 285/30/19 PS2s with 12/5 spacer with 0 problems. There was plenty of room and I am positive I would have been able to put at least a 10 out back with no problem.

Now I am running 255/275 set up, again with same spacer combo and no rubbing whatsoever. However, I am a bit worried to put a 10mm out back due to the taller tire. I will do it next weekend and update everyone on whether it rubs or not. The spacers are here, just no time to put them on

There's a really easy fix for rubbing because of spacers - don't use them.

I wonder if 265/35/19 and 295/30/19 PS2s would work with 10mm spacers up front, no spacers in the rear..

I too would like to know if 265/35/19 fronts and 295/30/19 rears with PS2, on ZCP wheels would work. I have the car lowered on Eibachs but no plans yet to run with spacers.

Anyone run this combo yet? would love to see some pictures if you have.

Cheers,

It seems like a 255/285 setup with front and rear spacers (15mm front and 10mm rear?) is more preferred for an aggressive look. I had asked about using 295's here: http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthr...95#post8531495

How about if you simply dont want to put spacers or anything on with zcp package wheels. Can you do

245/35 and 275/35 for a bit more meat on the tires.

my rule of thumb, for no rubbing:

fronts:
255 + 15mm spacers
265 + 10mm spacers

rears:
275 + 12mm spacers
285 + 10mm spacers
295 + 5mm spacers

this is assuming medium/average sized tires (PS2's, Conti DS, etc). For more aggressive tires (ad08, etc), take 5mm off each

That's a good reference ssabripo...are those numbers verified to work without problems? Does anybody have pics of a 265/295 PS2 setup with 10mm/5mm spacers?

Is that rear 275/35-19 or 275/30-19

I would also like to increase my ZCP tire size by 10mm front and back for a 255/275 combo. But the combos listed by ssabripo don't mention aspect ratios. Is the 275 rear a 35 series, for a slightly larger overall diameter vs stock, or a 30 series, for a fairly significantly smaller OD vs stock?

Also, I've seen conflicting info on the board re. 255/35-19 fronts. Some, as above, say they work fine with no rubbing--this is also supported by a nice winter setup posted here from ?Toronto using Blizzaks. Others, however, have suggested that 255/35-19s rub in the front. Any ideas? Is it the difference between a ZCP and stock suspension?

255 35 19 will not rub whatsoever. For the rear, you want 275/35/19, not 275/30/19.

Ssabripo when you quote these numbers are you using the zcp wheels or other aftermarket wheels. Just seems that a 295 rear with spacers on a zcp would be a very tight fit.

Would still be interested in hearing if anyone has a 295 on a zcp wheel on a lowered car ( mine are eibachs ).

Cheers

ZCP wheels

stock suspension, with medium sized tires a la PS2 or conti DS/DSW...ad08's, RE11's, etc, you will rub specially on the 285/295 unless you drop the spacers by 5mm.

Can we talk about NO spacers? I'm not interested in pushing my tires out for cosmetics. What I'd like to do is run a good tire - PS2 or PSS for example, in a square setup. Ideally, I'd like 275s all around on my 2011 E90 ZCP.

Can I do that without rubbing?

Well, you can forget all that. The new car is fitted with a turbocharged straight six. Turbocharging? In an M car? That’s like putting gravy on an ice cream.

This is (AD08's) what I run on a stock E92 ZCP car, no rubbing at all but I've never had more than 1 passenger in the car.
