M3 v8 cold engine start failure, Jumping revs....

Hi,

I have got a problem. When I start my m3 e90 in the morning the revs jumps from 500-1700 and they can't stay stable. After few seconds check engine turns up...however if I keep the acceleration for few sec it start to work properly. The car does it only when cold....i changed the plugs but nothing helped

( Any clues ???? Thanks a lot

why don't you get your codes read? perhaps its the idle control valve..

The problem is that I went to BMW but they can't find anything

( they gave me a list of possibilities....but nothing specific....
