New Video I Made v.Cycling

Thought I'd share a little video i put together yesterday. I'm currently training for my first century bike ride, which is a charity ride, so i thought i'd make a video to help w/ the fundraising.

Can be viewed in HD on the actual youtube page!

And if you feel at all inclined to donate and sponsor me in the fight against Diabetes, you can go here to do so: http://main.diabetes.org/goto/CharlesMichael

Yes i know my cycling clothing is way too big on me. I've recently lost a significant amount of weight and i haven't bought new gear yet

nice video! we have to suffer through 20-30 degree rides right now in NJ - (when the effing snow isn't falling) - good luck with the century - make sure you eat a lot - even when you don't feel hungry - easy to bonk on the 1st one particularly.

Very nice! I haven't done any centuries yet, but plan to this year. I usually do 50-80 miles, and I always do as many of those tours/charity rides as possible.

nice. So far my longest ride to date is 62.2miles, which i did in about 5.5hrs including breaks. So i'm trying to get my average MPH up some. Hoping to do the century in/around 7.5hrs.

What camera did you use to film this? I guess Canon 5DMKII or 7D?
I would like to know what lens you use too please
Really cool video. I need to start biking again.

cool video, i've not seen many roadie vids online.

if you are ever curious to check out dirt, china camp (near san rafael) and tamarancho (near fairfax) have some pretty nice single track. further south (maybe 25 mins south of sunnyvale/san jose), you can hit soquel demonstration forest, which is freaking awesome (but def not a beginner ride).

sorry for the threadjack.

Thanks!

I haven't really gotten in to dirt yet. I've been wanting to find other cool routes in the bay area though. The one i'm doing in the video is my favorite so far. It's pretty much what i've been doing for the past 3 or 4 months now.
