Fort Myers Represent!

I was at Coconut Point Mall the other day (I'm the e92) and I just happened to see the car on the right (e93). I actually left a note on the windshield, but it was still there when I left - so the note would not have made sense. So I took it back. Wondering if this person hangs out here.

Very cool. Probably was me. I had it out and about on Saturday. I think if you roll through in that Frozen Black M3 I'll probably notice you - either by sight or sound!

Your car is a Jerez black, Love that color, my previous M3 was a JB but it is hard to keep it clean

Yeah it is. But worth it. Is the Frozen Black hard to keep clean? I have heard it requires "special" care.

frozen black is easier to keep it clean compared to jerez black but yes, you need special products to take care of it, cannot wash it with any type of car shampoo and cannot wax it either, there are special products for this paint but using them it becomes pretty easy to keep it clean, here are a couple of pictures after washing it with just a matte shampoo and water

I'm a grand-pa, that'll tell you how old I am LOL I live in Gateway and work in Estero - I drive right by FGCU a couple times a week.

I kinda wanted the black, but taking care of the gray is hard enough, I can't even imagine black as often as I get sprinkler water splashed on my car.

I love Fort Myers, great place to go for a weekend and enjoy the beaches without the craziness of the Florida east coast, I may move there in a few years

When my wife and I looked (we moved from up North like 99.8% of everyone else) we said we would have moved to the Atlantic coast if we had no kids and were 20 years younger. We're youngish for the area but definitely oldish for the Atlantic coast. We are SoFL's version of Tweens. If you're over 30, you'll love it here.

It is a great area, not too stuffy, lots of baseball in the spring and just close enough to Sarasota and Naples to be semi-convenient.

yes I am over 30 and my 2 kids are in college already so it is only me and my wife now, great place to be live after retirement
