Best challange x-pipe for oem back box??
Been thinking about getting a challenge x-pipe but keeping the oem back box. Could someone let me know the best one to try and get from their range? Im not wanting mega loud but I also don't want any raspy shit. I'm going to be adding a rear section sometime but I would rather start with something that's going to get me more power first !

anytime you replaced a xpipe and keeping your oem axle back it will be loud... im assuming one of the cats will be removed... if the primary cats will be removed it will be very loud.
im not sure which challenge your getting since they have 4 set up ... but any will be loud.

Read my mind Fraser. I was contemplating this exact setup (sport pipe and oem exhaust) + an Evolve tune. Was hoping it would not be loud. Cant find any videos or feedback on this specific setup...

If your keeping the OEM rear muffler I would recommend the Street or Sport X-pipe. Both options will increse the tone but offer a better sound than a X-pipe with no resonators. Please let me know if you need any help.

Check out eisenmann race + challenge sport x pipe on youtube.
Plenty of videos, when you take off the primary cats, it gets very loud, raspy and smelly Im getting the sport pipe personally, because i want the power increase from the primary cat deletion. |

I say go with the sport for the best balance of power and volume control. I have the sport and an AE Performance and it's loud: bassy on the low end and screams up high. I expect any x pipe with the OEM axle back will sound pretty tinny. So what. Will inspire you to get a new axle back sooner!

FWIW the Mastermind X-pipe appears well built too and is a couple hundred cheaper.
