Wow how did i not see this post sooner!!!!

In regards to the warranty and dealerships - Sure it depends on the dealership, but basically ANY modification can void a warranty, no matter how small or large it is.

LUX H8 is able to stay at 100% full brightness all the time because of the wiring harness. It is quite easy to make everything very hidden, its just takes a bit of time and patience.

The LUX H8 bulbs themselves are Very Very bright however. As many people said, they can ""almost"" be used at night alone, however i wouldn't recommend it. They have gone though a lot of testing to make the outer ring Extremely bright, and also to keep the inner ring just as bright.

More pictures will be up soon since 20+ sets have been shipped out. Here are some pics of the LUX H8 kits so far on a E92

Note - these pics are taken in FULL Sunlight - so you can compare these to other pictures

AIBs are currently have a defective design and are replacing the driver for free. I'm glad they admitted it and are trying to fix it, since it seems there's alot of people who have had problems. My AIBs looked nice, while they worked. I'm still waiting on my replacements from EAS.

Guys,

Could someone post a picture of the top cover with the 1inch hole drilled into it and with the rubber grommet in place. I apologize in advance if this has already been posted/discussed elsewhere, but I couldn't find it . I also went through the instructions with no success. I'm about to place an order, just want to make sure I don't goof up the install.
Thanks!

my car went in for transmission problems and couldn't be re-programmed so they tried placing the blame on electrical, asking me if my angel eyes required wire splicing or harnesses to run the LED. I told them that it is only a bulb swap, and they said that they would have BMW NA check it out to verify when they come down to work on the car. Trust me on this: it's only when they cant figure out the problem on the car, that they start looking for anything to place the blame on. If you are taking your car in for oil, or brakes, or a squeak etc, of course they are not going to care about wiring harnesses or anything like that.

This is the first I have heard of AiB's having problems. I've had mine installed for 8k miles with no issues .

I was driving my buddys 997 TT today, and he was behind me in my M3, and the angel eyes looked amazing in full sun light. So visible, the 2 rings looked perfectly lit. I couldn't believe how good they looked! LUX FTW!

Then you probably didn't get the email about AIB sending out updated drivers because the current one can overheat. Check out the vendor section and you'll see some people post issues.

After I posted my issue, I got tons of PMs from others who have the same problem, but no one wanted to post it online and give EAS a black eye.

BTW, I was just told I won't get a replacement till mid next month on my AIB, it'll be over a month and a half since I sent it back for replacement.

Patience is starting to wear thin. I guess I'll just uninstall the other one since it won't be anytime soon when I get my replacement. Better to have both stock than one stock and one AIB.

You did also see in the email that we were fully willing to send prepaid shipping labels and offer full refunds for those not wishing to wait - even on kits that were not experiencing any issues? This should speak volumes on how far a manufacturer/distributor is willing to go to make sure customers are happy.

Situations (good or bad) present themselves in all shapes and sizes. How a particular individual (or vendor) handles them is what makes them really shine.

This is not the first time EAS has been criticized for underhanded or explicit attacks on other products here on the forum. In their defense at least this thread is explicitly about a product they carry. They have got involved when they clearly shouldn't in threads having nothing to do with products they carry.
