disapr e46m track build

This is a project that I started 10 months ago. Now that the project is mostly complete, I thought I'd share some photos of the process.

First, I'd like to thank my sponsors:

My wife - For being supportive of the project, spending entire weekends working on the car with me & taking/editing the final photos.

Flavius (M3roar) at Morar Industries - For expertly CNC machining all of the one-off parts & tools that I designed for this build.

And then ME, because I did everything else

Also, thanks to: Daniel Macfadden@Momentum BMW & Adam@Hard Motorsport

Beautiful build. Puts pretty much every build I've seen on this forum to shame. Looks like a lot of blood, sweat, and tears went into this car.

I will tell you guys this car is beautiful in person. I spent time this past weekend bugging Jeremy about the passenger seat As someone stated, no detail was left out. I think this build would even make the BMW motherland proud. Great job J......................Phil

Sick build! Do you have a sequential in it? The shifter looks front-back only.

1:46 was the fastest. That was the second time driving the car since completing the build so I'm still getting used to it. I also still need to tune the setup and find the right alignment, damper and pressure settings.

I'm still running the stock 6spd gearbox - The shifter is really nice though and makes for super short/fast shifts while keeping the shifter in a good position.

I know exactly how you feel - hang in there! The car is amazing to drive, better even than I expected. I'm still in the take it somewhat easy and re-check everything mode but I'm looking forward to just spending the entire weekend lapping and tuning.

"Shake down" Take your time.....I plan on taking 7-8 track days to really dial it in. Very slow at first building up over time. I hope to start the shake down this weekend but wont post pictures/build thread till it is near complete.
We have used many of the same parts (bimmerworld, Turner & VAC) not many others to select from. More than anything I am amazed you did most of it yourself........I had a little help
