Nice Collection!!!! Lifts just make me nervous. I always envision them failing and either crushing me, or the car on the bottom. I know this is silly, but it still just makes me nervous.

Just received a whole bunch of boxes of Racedeck that are sitting in my (still cluttered) garage. Going to try to tackle the project Thursday morning.

BTW - I also purchased this:
http://www.amazon.com/Hoover-L2310-5.../dp/B000289920
A garage utility vacuum. The primary use is to vacuum the interior of the cars - I just tried it and it works very well! But I also figure it will help me keep the garage nice and clean when I have the racedeck installed and I start paying attention to how it looks. I'll try to post pictures back to this thread when all is set. It won't be like some of the stuff the posters have shown though!

My dream is to one day live on an airport community and have a gigantic hangar/garage attached to my home for all my toys. I have seen some truly incredible setups of this kind. But 2 years ago I lived in NYC and had to pay $600/month to valet park my car and the valets treated it (and me) like $hit. Now I have three cars, a two car garage, one off street outdoor spot and basic but decent hangar for the airplane only 15 min away. So really, I shouldn't complain.

What happens when (not if) you spill oil on that flooring? Does it leak through and get on the concrete? Nice GUV vac - I have the same setup and love it!

oil

Oil/water/dirt all fall to the concrete. I usually use a blower to get dirt/leaves out, the water runs out channeled grooves, and you just take up sections to clean any oil spots.

very nice setup. one of the reasons I went with Premier (you can use any number of similar companies for the floor) is they grind the floor with diamond bit grinders then do the surfacing. in the end you have a floor which is completely sealed and you can walk out in the garage with shoes or socks and never pick up any dust from the concrete. plus, if anything spills you just simply wipe it up...it stays on top.....

That's what I plan on doing. I'm even considering just polishing, staining and sealing the floor like some of the nicer big box stores.

WesterM3: Car and garage look very nice. I have always been a fan of your silver car with those wheels. I dont think I could ever bring myself to get a set that large in diameter, but they sure do look great with the silver! Also did you color match your garage and your car on purpose?! :P

I was going for the overall vibe to match the car/wheels and the cabinets.

OP, I like your color scheme of the tiles and clean set up...I went for plastic tiles myself and am happy.
