yeah i got it done at icon tinting
just convenient location near work
they did a good job, comparable pricing to anyone else

I heard good things about Icon Tinting. Out of curiosity, what type of tint work did you get done?

I used Shadow Tint on my IS 250 AWD that I'm currently driving. Got partial hood, front fenders, mirrors, a-pillars and roofline done. 2.5 years in and no problems with it.

I personally believe this is complete bullshit and I'm pretty angry, I have never really broken the laws and I hate how I did one small thing that isn't even illegal and I get $600 in fine.

Wow! Scary to know that someone can call in your plate and you get a ticket without visual confirmation. It's times like this you need the James Bond "flip" license plate!

I think he may want to contest this ticket. I can't imagine it would hold up if the original caller did not show up to court.

As far as I know, Cops can't give away ticket based on other people's observation! in that case i would call cops and report everyone I don't like! Probably all those 4 people who were in the car called the cops right after each other and that is "numerous people have reported you to be driving unsafe"!!!

DEFINITELY GO TO COURT!!!!! Your winning chance is like 99%!

So granted this was in 2008 but it looks like I paid about $294 for the hood, fenders, and mirrors, and then $126 for the roof and a-pillars. Like I said, I have not had any complaints or problems with the work they did. Was planning on taking my M3 there for 3M and window tinting when it arrives.

Thanks for the details. Sent in a few inquiries for quotes, so we'll see what they come back with.
