e46 OEM 18 square setup on e92 M3?

Hi all,

Couldn't find anything in the search function, so thought I'd ask here...

I've got a set of e46 OEM 18" squares (4 rears) that I used on my e46M for track wheels. I've got fairly new NT01's (275's) on them, and wonder if they would bolt right up to the e92.

I installed studs last weekend, so just need to try...but figured I'd ask as well. I've seen the e46 crowd run the style 219's, etc, so figure they are interchangeable.

Obviously not the most $$/optimal set up in the world...but they are just sitting in the garage. For reference, I run about 6-8 weekends a year.

thanks!

BK

The stock E46 M3 18" Rear wheels are 18x9" ET26 which are extremely conservative for the E92 M3 but will work while looking very sunken into the fender wells. They have a low enough offset to where front strut clearance would not be a problem. For aesthetic purposes and a wider track you could use a 12mm wheel spacer all of the way around on the car to closely match the look of the very popular 18x9.5" ET22 size. You could also use a larger 15mm wheel spacer to more closely match the look of an 18x10" ET25 wheel.
