It is a very quick car, no doubt about it. Especially in 6MT, but its not even close to the M3. Just curious, you live in Toronto and your dad is in San Fran?
Correct, although we often have silly conversations and emails to keep in touch. I'm going to visit him for the holidays and make him drive an M3. He needs to learn. And his car is auto. Maybe I should travel in my M6 and show him real power, but that wouldn't be fair lol.

funny thing is I drove an 04 accord coupe 6 spd right before my e92 m3. I feel like the accord had more power up until about 3-3.5k. I had a guy in a g35 race me 2 weeks ago so I let him race while I watched.

You sir, are a intelligent individual.

I dont know what it is, but people always drive like A-holes around me when I'm cruising in the M. This one guy in a jeep last night was trying to keep up with me, I'm like are you kidding??? I let him do whatever he wanted, I paid no attention, just not worth engaging these idiots on the road who always want to race.

An idiot in an Accord V6 was riding my tail this morning on the 401. After I moved over to let him by, he accelerated away to attach himself to the rear of his next victim. Then he suddenly veered right two lanes - he was having so much fun he nearly missed his exit.

ONLY 5 MINUTES AGO, on my way to work. An early 90's Ford Aerostar workvan pulled up next to me with 3 guys honking, I see the driver switch the gear selecter (which is located behind the steering wheel) to Neutral and he starts revving it while going about 70km/h (approx 40 mph). He than puts it back into drive, and floors it away hoping I will chase him down? I gave him a (aka loooseerr) and kept cruising.

It happened to me all the time in my AMG. Until I got wise and simply debadged the car.

Funny thing is, when I'm in the Porsche people don't try to race. They give the thumbs up and just leave me alone

seems like something we see every week especially if you drive your M as daily and that happens mostly with ppl driving trucks/vans

Man, glad to hear the Accord has no chance, though it was interesting someone noted that the Accord felt stronger down low.

Everyone knows an accord can beat an M3. Just get a fiberglass bodykit, a few shots of nos, fake bov, seibon cf hood, cf trunk, cf wing. Maybe throw in a couple of those dohc vtec stickers beside the door. Most likely 500+hp. More than enough to smoke a M3 and maybe break a sweat on a Veyron or SLR

Oh yeah, the Apexi N1 muffler, can't forget that. Either that, or the ebay "potato cannon's" xD. (or as I like to call, the fister ) jk haha.

All joking aside though, I hate it when someone when someone just speed by past you and tries to race you. I blame it on those fast and the furious movies

I'm surprised nobody has asked the OP whether this was an E36 M3 sedan or an E90 M3.

I am 100 percent sure the M3 will DEMOLISH pretty much his Accord. Anyone have any videos to set my dad straight? I showed him a bunch of M3 Vs X car videos, but he won't let me hear the end of it. Also, any 4 door M3 member here remember getting 'demolished' by an Accord in San Francisco Wednesday night? My thinks his accord is invincible, I need to open his eyes.
