Thumbs down M3 Vs Accord V6???

We all know this is bullshit, but my father claims to have beaten a 4 door M3 last night. I am confused because he was using his 2003 Accord V6 with only 240 Hp. He is feeling really good right now after having beaten a V8 M3, a car he was really interested in. He said he embarrassed the owner, which should be practically impossible. I am 100 percent sure the M3 will DEMOLISH pretty much his Accord. Anyone have any videos to set my dad straight? I showed him a bunch of M3 Vs X car videos, but he won't let me hear the end of it. Also, any 4 door M3 member here remember getting 'demolished' by an Accord in San Francisco Wednesday night? My thinks his accord is invincible, I need to open his eyes.

Uhh, your dad must be high bro. Even a stock 335i can demolish an Accord let alone an M3. Obviously in denial

I get demolished by people wanting to race me almost on a daily basis....it's because I'm not actually racing them!

No reason to burst his bubble. Just say, "yeah cool, Pops." And let him bask in his glory. Next week he'll hunt for bigger kill.

I think the most logical explanation is that the E90 was not even racing lol..

240 HP vs 414 HP

15 second car vs mid-12 second car

Both cars weigh almost the same

Tell your dad he either defied physics or the other guy was not even bothered to have raced him.

I walked the 240 HP V6 Accord sedans in my 330 CI ZHP. The coupes are a bit quicker and can put up a fight.

This reminds me of a lady at work told me that her 2002 accord goes rom 0-60 under 5 seconds because she presses the gas pedal really hard. She argued with me and another co-workers who was there

the only way the accord can win is because the m3 didn't feel like hurting the accord's feelings. the m3 probably didn't think it was worthy of a race.

I used to own a 2003 Accord V6 (6 speed) and I assume your dads car is auto??

It is a very quick car, no doubt about it. Especially in 6MT, but its not even close to the M3. Just curious, you live in Toronto and your dad is in San Fran?

you're kidding right?.. 2003 V6 Accord: 240hp/212tq...~3000lbs vs 2008 328i: 230hp/200tq ~ 3450lbs..

i can't see it being faster, forget "destroy"

The Accord even in coupe form is still around 3300 lbs (older model). New one's are much heavier.

Though, I agree a 328 will not destroy the Accord coupe. They are almost neck-and-neck with my 330 CI ZHP (mid-14s), but still much quicker than a 328.

OP: Show your daddy this and it will bring him back to the real world from la-la land. It is not even a race:
