GIAC is a software engineering company with 17 years experience tuning cars. We are known for creating "factory smooth" performance software with exceptional power and reliability. Our software replaces the standard software in your car?s engine control unit. It is programmed to adjust ignition timing, fuel delivery, fuel metering, boost settings, rev limiters, and/or speed limiters to optimize performance and, in some applications, fuel economy. Performance-tuned programs are designed to dramatically increase torque and HP without sacrificing smooth drivability. Many programs are also created to accommodate numerous after market performance modifications.

GIAC Stage 1 performance software for the 2008-2009 BMW M3 smoothly delivers a 10-20 hp and 7-12 ft-lbs gain. For optimum performance the software must be coupled with exhaust and intake.

NICE! Loved the giac stg2+ flash on my 335, how much hp/tq can i expect with macht schnell stg2 intake kit and gintani exhaust?

It's difficult to say. At least 10whp and 7wtq but with those mods you should make more. It depends on dynos, ambient temp, etc.

Yes, the regular stage 1 is $700 and the off-road file or for any M3 with HFC or no cats at all, $800.

Intake and exhaust will work with the same tune file. If you upgrade to headers, you will likely need a custom file from GIAC.
