Below is a link to an actual vehicle driven by a friend of mine, and dynoed in town: Evolve tune on a catless X pipe= +18whp/12wtq.

I guess don't spend time reading online mag articles

I am confident the European Car dyno testing used an actual car as well. And no, I am not affiliated with the owner.

There are several independent dynos on this forum showing similar gains with the tune stacked on the x-pipe. I will search and post more.

Great. But for those who want an independent dyno test, European Car has done one. It has nothing to gain. In fact, European Car expressed its disappointment in not making the 400 rwhp target. It is these kinds of dynos that are most credible.

They were disappointed not making 60+ RWHP with an exhaust and tune on a NA engine? What in the world were they expecting......

No, they were disappointed in not making 47 rwhp with pulleys, intake, x-pipe, rear exhaust and tune on an NA engine. The 400 rwhp goal would be about a 13% gain over the 353 rwhp baseline dyno from bolt on parts. A percentage gain like that is fairly common on a naturally aspirated motor from a full set of bolt ons, so I don't believe the magazine's thinking was the least bit out of line. Also, there are many dynos here in the forums of all the bolt ons showing similar gains.

In the message you just posted, you stated: ask any reputable shop, about the ESS kits. Because those aren't causing any of the rods to stretch. Right? Well ESS has dynos showing +16whp on customer cars with X-pipes, after their tune. But you apparently don't believe that. So why should I believe ESS on the rods? Oh, and you stated that maintaining the car the way the dealership wants does not constitute owner neglect, even if they want you to change the 10W60 once a year. But you purchased a used CPO '08, changed the bearings, and now use 0W40. You see now why I don't respond to your posts?

So you read magazines, to get information, and copy what some people are doing on the forums: i.e; Change rod bearings, and use 0W40. Oh, and you've never ever tracked your car. Ok, got it.

You actually do respond to all of my posts. You seem to think everything is a great conspiracy. People are trying to make money off rod bearings. ESS can't be trusted, etc. I think you should just drive your car, enjoy it, and stop posting nonsense about rods stretching and bearings falling out.

Wow this thread got brought back 2 months later lol. I really wanted to do a before/after comparison of the ACM test pipes and BPM stage 2 tune but the timing just didn't work out. I posted the numbers more to compare with similar cars on Mustang Dyno's. Like others have said, MD's are one of the lowest reading so I'm not stressing the actual numbers as much.
