OEM Rears on all 4??

when i had my E39 M5 i was able to run 4 OEM wheels on all 4 with a 3mm spacer up front so i could run a square setup of 275 all the way around making it handle better and to rotate tires

does anyone know if you can do this on the E92 M3?? if so and you did it how did it handle etc??

thanks in advance

I'm not going square (most would). I will do 265/35/18 and 275/40/18. Most will do 275/35/18 on all corners.

I am thinking about doing this as well rear 18" wheels in all 4 corners with 275/35 all the way around. I am concerned that I may require a spacer in the rear, but would prefer to not run a spacer, not sure how the front and rear will look together without a spacer.

I guess the main question is will the stock rear 18" wheels work on front with a 275/35R18 tire and not rub?

Offset is perfect. Depends on the tire. E.g less chance if rubbing vith Vreds than with NT05s

I was looking at Michelin or Bridgestone, bot are the same width 10.9 with a 25.6 dia - just .2 wider than 265/40 and .7 shorter.

I don't think PS2s would rub, but RE-11s...well there aren't any. If you're talking RE050s, I don't know, sorry

I'm running 4 rear E46 M3 ZCP wheels with 275/30 DW tires (5mm spacer front/20mm rear). So far, much better handling/less understeer in curves (both in the street and on the track), can rotate the tires and my fenders look "meaty" full with this combo...

should of been more specific. i was wondering if i could run 4 Rear OEM E92 M3 wheels on all 4 and if so what sizes can i run or can i run all 4 same size tire

i was just using my E39 M5 as an example bc alot of us did that and put a 3mm spacer in the front

so that was my 2 questions, can you run a 19 inch rear oem E92 M3 on the front and the rear and if so would you need any spacers. also what size can i use to use the same size tire on all 4

sorry for any confusion. it seems it can be done with the oem 18, but haven't seen anything about 19's yet

Yes, it can be done and my example explained it if you take into consideration that my OEM E46 M3 rear wheel offset is 4mm less than the OEM E9x M3 ET, i.e. 19 x 9.5 ET27 vs. 19 x 9.5 ET23 respectively.

So the difference in my setup and using 4 rear OEM E9x M3 rear wheels in all 4 corners is that these wheels stick out 4mm over my setup. Your tire size determine the size of spacers to be used if you want your rear to be flush with the fender -the wider the tires the thinner the spacer. There's no need of spacers in the front if you use rear wheels, they will be flush with the ET23.

The tire size is up to you... squared set, OEM sizes set, 265/285 set, etc.

You might rub a little bit, untill it wears down on that spot. But it also depends on how low you are though. Breakdown;

Oem fronts: 19x8.5 et 29mm
Oem rears: 19x9.5 et 23mm

If you put the rears in the front, they will stick out 19mm more. So I think there might be a chance of rubbing on the fender.

But if others here with more experience then me, have tried it and says it works, then COOL, go for it and enjoy the aggressive look!
