2009 M3 Options

Hey guys I just ordered my 2009 alpine white M3 for this coming September and i was wondering if these two options are necessary for my car

1)EDC(electronic damper control).

2)high gloss shadow line. (Does it look good on alpine white?)

Good to see another member on here from Halifax. I never thought that would happen.

I would not say that either of the 2 options are "necessary". I have the EDC option and while so far I have not had much chance to play around with the different settings to see exactly how different they feel, because I am going to track my car (first event is on May 18th @ AMP) I opted for it. If you do not plan to track your car then you can probably live without the option and save $2k.

I have never seen the high gloss shadow line so I can compare it to the alternative so maybe someone can post a picture of AW coupe or sedan with that trim so you can see.

Where did you order your car from - Halifax BMW? PM me so we can meet up if you are interested.

I wonder why they don't offer more options. example the 5 series has alot of amazing options like venti seats heads up display night vision rear view camera and lane departure. I had a 335i and loved the preformace then switched the a 2009 infiniti FX35 loaded with nav all around view and lane dep. and stuff. I want a preformance M car with features options like on the 5 series, atleast as an option. you dont have to buy it if you dont want to get it to save weight or whatever. At least I want heads up and rear view camera (or better of all around view) and definitely venti seats. I love the cool feature on my FX i hate sweat down my back while driving.
