Yet Another BPMSport Flash Advise Request Thread
I currently have a 2008 E92 M3 with DCT but no NAV or Comfort Access. Currently the only main mod is a Akrapovic Slip On exhaust. I plan on adding the Akra X-Pipe and probably the MS intake and underdrive pulley.
I really like the things Mike has to offer at BPMSport. Here is a list of the items to include in the flash: -Have tune optimized for Akrapovic Evolution exhaust, MS intake and pulley (e.g. eliminate the CEL) -Remove top speed limiter -Remove cold start cat heat cycle for smoother cold starts (cold start cam phasing shutoff) -Reduce cold start redline -Reprogram torque management -Reprogram throttle response -Reprogram ignition timing -Have tune done for 91 octane fuel -Reprogram vanos -Sharpen throttle response -Windshield wipers complete full cycle when ignition is shut off -Remove ignition/door gong -Remove seatbelt warning gong for driver/passenger -Unlock doors when key is ejected -A/C off when auto climate is pressed -Open/close windows with key FOB -Disable window safety feature -Auto fold mirrors when car locked -Change low fuel warning from 1/4 to 1/6 -Enable digital speedometer on OLED gauge cluster -Enable/disable auto-correction for digital speedometer/MPG -Mirror curb tilt -Automatic door locking -Automatic trunk closing -Halogen highs enabled with Xenon high beams -Enable fog lamps with high beams -Euro hazard lamps (double blinks) -Triple Blink turn signals (five if possible) -Enable instantaneous MPG -Tweak welcome lights setting Beyond that, I'm contemplating a few retrofits: -OEM E92 alarm retrofit -OEM E92 LCI LED rear lights -OEM M Button for 2008 E92 with Euro MDM coding -FRM2 coding update (not sure on this) -Comfort Access (if possible... I just thought of this) I did not include costs as I don't think I should post that info... but lets just say the retrofits add roughly a couple grand and the M button is roughly half the cost. The flash itself is also extra. I definitely want to do the flash but I'm not sure how I would rank in importance the Akra X-pipe, MS intake and underdrive pulley, Alarm retrofit, rearlight retrofit and M button retrofit. Please add anything to the long list above that you would recommend. Please also rank the other items in order of importance to you (x-pipe, intake, pulley, M button retrofit, alarm retrofit and rear LED light retrofit). I'm not sure I will get all of them right away but I'll probably end up with all or most of them. Thanks in advance!

Save your money and go to the track to learn how to use 414hp before looking for more.
Now, if you're already a track junky, then X-pipe needs a tune to get rid of the Check Engine light. Too bad you're in Norcal, I'd consider selling mine since I want something with 200cpi. But if you were down here, Alpine could do most of the coding for $60!!! .

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."
