DPE Wheel Decision help
Hey guys, trying to decide between 2 wheels at this point, and I can't say I have a strong leading candidate. The two options are:
DPE SL 5 DPE SP-SC10 I think they're both dead sexy (either will be matte black), but I just can't decided which one to go for, and hoping to order soon so they come right before my birthday Was thinking of going 20"x9" front and 20"x 10.5" rears (with whatever their offsets they have and wont release). Already sitting on RD springs, and hoping to avoid rubbing- was thinking I would have to do 30s to do so? Open to all kinds of advice and suggestions as well. Thanks guys.

dude these concave wheels look so sick. I had SP-5's on my e92 but if the Super Concave's were available when i had ordered my sp's i would have gone the concave route, look at how sick they look on this beautiful e90.

I have a set of 20" DPE SL-5 black center with polished lip that I'm putting up for sale. PM me if you'd be interested in a used set in excellent condition.
Both wheels look amazing. I love the 5 spoke design of the SL-5 but concave wheels just look so awesome! |

There are a lot. to be honest. The 2 wheels you have selected are not so appealing trying hard wheels i say....
check out the sponsor wheels and tires... you find a lot that are way better than what you have.. sorry just lazy to direct you to one.

ya, i'm pretty sure i'm going to go with the DP-SC10.. the really deep concave is pretty uncommon like that, and just looks too good.
saw in another thread that you're going with HRE? which ones?

Personally, I would never buy a wheel from a company that doesn't release all pertinent information. Offsets are very important and it is something you should know. How are you supposed to buy tires of you don't even know what the offsets are? Are you going to blindly take their tire recommendation as the only option? I wouldn't. What if you decide later to go with a different brand of tire and use the same size as what you originally bought through your DPE supplier but it ends up not fitting because the new brand runs a bit wider than the original tires? Offsets should not be kept secret from you if you are the paying customer. I can see not releasing the offsets to the general public so the wheel fitment cannot be copied but not telling the owner is a bunch of crap.

Let me know if you have any questions on the DPE wheels. I'm more than happy to answer any questions you may have.
Acute Performance is a master dealer and is intimately familar with their process and products. As for releasing offsets, I can help with that if you absolutely need the offsets because at the end of the day you can always measure them yourselves.
