The M3 is the longest that I have ever kept a car and I am still not bored!

I always know an m3 is passing by because of the engine sound. I always admire. So sad the next one will lack the euro muscle car sound.

Had the first E46 & E90 M3 in Oregon, and may not be the first on the F82, but I'm sure it will not disappoint. Love mine every day on my daily 18 mi RT commute. New M2 looks interesting as well, but not sure I want "entry level", though it may be a purer sports car.

Every time I get in the car and fire it up, can't help but grin ear to ear. Then letting the s65 rip! What a machine

Try this....Do a search. Find any review or video on the M3. There is nothing but universal praise for this car. Even the GTR and F10 M5 have some criticisms, but not the M3. My 2011 M3 is my first M3, and my first BMW. Every time I drive it, I fall in love with it. After over 25 years in production, the M3 has an established heritage. It is also the benchmark of its class. I will even go so far as to say that for the driving enthusiast, it sits smack dead center in the sweet spot of car ownership, relative to any other car.
It looks are sportingly aggressive and yet not overtly flamboyant. It is a bodybuilder in a tuxedo. You can see all the muscles, but it isn't in your face. The ride/handling balance is absolute perfection. A million bucks could not buy better. The way the engine revs and sounds creates an almost narcotic-like addiction. You just want it and need it, more and more, and more. The steering is so perfectly dialed in. Super precise, and yet just a hint of muting for the street so as to not be in the least bit twitchy. The size is perfect. Large enough to feel solid and planted. Small enough to maintain agility. You can break it loose for some hooligan fun and yet it remains so controllable and predictable even when over the edge. When needed, you can utilize it as real transportation, and in the blink of an eye it can become a thrilling hot date. It also sits in the sweet spot of value. You simply will not find a better blend of performance, style, practicality, refinement and prestige at its price. Ultimately, I will leave you all with this one idea to ponder over. If you try to reach out from the sweet spot in which the M3 sits, and try to obtain a car that does any one particular thing better, you will, with certainty, have to compromise on something else. Everything considered, my friends, this is as good as it gets.

And every weekend she's going on the battery tender...(the CTEK 7000 ).so this evening, and this will keep her alive .... I love it too, more than any other car I've ever owned. And that's a long list.
It's a keeper forever.

Now having a relatively stock version with the comp. pk, I forgot how "good" this car was stock. My last one was moded and I loved it as well, but this car in its original form is just so well balanced for everything that it does in and out of the track.

I don't have to say it ... my wife always maintained that I loved the ///3 more than her, and she's okay about it because it's not another woman.

Waiting on my M3 to arrive and I have never been so excited. I think I call BMNA daily to check the production status. I wasn't this enthusiastic when I bought my 997 GT3! Since the e30 M3, I've always wanted to own an M and she's finally coming home.

I have to say that I love driving the M3.
Coming from Carrera, GT3, Turbo, and Aston Martin, I have to say that the M3 stands well within this group. All these cars have strengths and weaknesses. The Carrera is a great car, but not the most practical (really only 2 seats with limited storage). The GT3 is a awesome track car, but way too raw for daily use. The Tubo is stupid fast, but kind of dull. The Aston is a beautiful car, but it's omph doesn't match it's roar. The M3 is so well balanced, has that great NA engine, and can fit my kids and their stuff in it pretty comfortably. Just an awesome car. I still LOVE my Ferrari, but it's like dating an Italian supermodel. Conditions have to be absolutely right to enjoy her The last time I tried to go to the supermarket in it, I came out and there were 3 people sitting on the hood taking a picture! |

"perfect car for this stage of my life".... as father with two kids, the M3 for me is the most sports-car like luxury vehicle I could buy with four doors....and the kids love riding in it! Super fun, safe and practical, while retaining highly unique characteristics not found in other vehicles, this is a car I will be keeping for a very long time.
