well, last time, I tried to hit Boardwalk or Park Place, my wrist slipped and somehow I ended up paying $75 for my luxury tax...

have you checked Google? Generally, these taxes are not state mandated and more location dependent (where you register or where you bought your car)

From the MA DMV website... Have not read in detail but all I see is a sales tax of 6.25%.

Any time you take the car for unscheduled maintenance or when buying parts for this car you will quickly be acquainted with the BMW tax, even worse is the M tax.

That has nothing to do with excise tax. Some states and countries still charge you state tax and luxury tax together on your brand new car! I call up 2 dealership yesterday and I was told they stop doing that for awhile now! Like I said. I got little concern because someone told me about it. I bought my M3 in Florida and Im getting it sometime this week. I dont want to get screw by double taxing. Im in Florida for work for next few month and yes I lived in Boston. Thanks everyone on your input!
