Yeah, when BMW has sufficiently sucked every last bit of interest the American public has in this car since it will be released 6+ months earlier across the pond.

THis car will be released in the European Market at the Frankfurt AutoShow
in September 07

In the US
Based on what Information I have found to be reliable, the release date is
Likely March/April 08 in the US, Early builds will be Test cars, Press cars for Detroit Auto Show unveiling for the US Then they will produce Demo cars for Press and Dealer intros and then one or two for the Dealers likely all equiped the same
I would bet on the Sedan in Fall

I was at my dealer today and he had talked with the planner here in Germany

"Production will start 12/07 but these slots will be used for launch events, media information etc. We will have production before 04/08 but not by much. There will also be a 4 door version but He would not give us the production dates"

He has been very accurate in the past so I would expect a Spring launch in the US. I am really interested to find out what if anything they do to freshen the Sedan, Maybe the M will lead the face lift on the E90
