me too...

Same here....Nothing but low ball offers just as you have been getting. I have the same car and with less miles and received the same bottom feeder offers...

After going through this exercise, I decided to keep the car and drive it. For such a heavily optioned, well kept car I thought it would fetch more money than that too. Especially since people were comparing my car to cars that were less optioned (65k window sticker), less desirable color combo (IMO) and higher mileage (12k+)....

Best of luck to you with your sale though..........just thought I'd share my 2cents with you. You have a beautiful car though....

CHEERS!

everyone is so aggressive

I am sort of looking for a new 08 or used 08 m3 coupe. I am trying to take advantage of the reduced prices of the new ones or the depreciation of the used ones.

I have read many many of these threads where current owners of these cars get so aggressive when faced with the concept of depreciation. A car is only worth what someone is willing to pay, new or used.

People who are trying to take advantage of lower prices are not bottom feeders. You have all sold enough cars, or traded to know the reality of depreciation. Life is rough, but not that rough, you are driving one of the best cars ever made.

Agreed....but when people are offering 40k, what else should one call them? Frugal? Surely if I were in the buyers' position, I would grind also, but there is a point that your offer would not even be considered "serious" when you shoot that low. No offense to the professional "shoppers" out there.

well enough. It is obvious 40k is riduculous. A serious shopper should view resources and see what cars are going for if money is the most important thing. you can get a sense at ebay viewing the completed listings.

It should also be noted, being a serious shopper, that there are only so many M3s out there and that does make things better for sellers.

agreed, I don't want to make assumptions, but some seem to be shooting to high for what there budget is.. I understand people wanting to deal, but I can tell the ones who have money and the ones who are trying to get into the M3 bracket

my advice: get to a point where money is not the biggest concern before buying a 50K + toy.

you will never get to that point by not doing a research and overpaying for toys, investments & etc. Money seems suddenly be a concern for those who bought these cars at ridiculous prices and can not face the depreciation as discussed above. It is normal for people to take advantage of such situations.
Having said all of that, I think this particular car is priced very well.
