20" Klassen M52 Monoblocks w/ Michelin PS2
Alright, here goes... This is a very gentile feeler, as I'm not particularly interested in giving my wheels away. I always like to know the story behind why someone is selling something, especially if I'm going to take the risk of buying something site unseen that costs what I consider a large sum of money. So here is my story. I bought these wheels from Wes (e60cs5), a fellow M3 post member. I saw his original post with photos of the wheels back in 2011: http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthr...m52+monoblocks About a year later someone revived the thread commenting on the wheels. I shot him a PM asking him to hit me up if he should ever decide to sell his wheels. I'd planned on buying them new, but he shot back to me stating he might be persuaded to sell them to try something new. These wheels run about $2,000 a piece, plus TPMS, and then almost $2,000 for tires! Yikes, that's like $10,000 to get these things new! Long story short, I ended up buying them from him without him ever posting for sale. In full disclosure, I paid a little less that what I'm asking for them. The rears tires were shot, so I had to buy new rear tires soon after for $1,100. Also, I think I got a really good deal from him. So why am I selling? (Forgive me for the detail, but I know if someone buys these things from me they are going to be reading this post about 50 times before the wheels arrive at their door.) I hurt my knee and had surgery to repair it, so I had been sitting at my computer shopping entirely too much. I've convinced myself I want a supercharger. I recently bought a 5,000 sq. ft. house with very little furniture to put in it, so there is not chance the wife is going to sign off on an $8,000+ supercharger instead of a new bedroom set. So for the time being, it's sell the wheels and get a supercharger or keep them and not. After much consternation, I decided to see if I could sell the wheels. Wheel details Asking price: $4,500 I'll Pay the Paypal and shipping costs. Klassen M52 Monoblocks Liquid Gray (a tinted clear powdercoat where you can visibly see the brushed aluminum) Front: 22 LBS @ 20X9.0 ET 17 Rear: 23.8 LBS @ 20 X11 ET 33 Tires Michelin PS2 Front: 255/30/20 Rear: 305/25/20 I will be shipping with tires, wheels, 2011 TPMS. Just jack up the car and bolt them on using your stock lugs. I put them on with ZCP suspension and then lowered using KW Sleeve Kit. The offset allows you to dump the car, if you would like. I get a slight rub in the front at full lock. I'm pretty low in the front. The rub is so slight, I can't figure out where it is hitting on the fender wall. The condition is 9.5 out of 10. Wes had one of the rear wheels touched up in a few spots. I couldn't figure out where it had been touched up. There are no curb marks or any other major defects. I put Wolf's Rim Shield on them the day I got them. The tires should be good for 10,000+ miles depending on how you drive. The new rears have about 1,000 on them and the fronts are good. I don't drive the car too often. I cannot explain to to you how well these wheels fit. It was obvious that Frank from Klassen and Wes knew what they were doing when they had these done. The color is also fantastic. The appear to change color depending on the light. At dusk they look black. In the sun they look gunmetal. Overcast days they look dark grey. Here are my photo threads Before lowering: http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthr...m52+monoblocks After lowering: http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthr...m52+monoblocks Also, Wes made a video for me before I bought them: http://vimeo.com/47962284 Before KW Sleeve Kit After Lowering about 7/8" On Alpine White. Shoot me a PM, email at matt.moreman@gmail.com, or give me a call or text @ 321-662-2249. Thanks for looking, Matt Last edited by Money2536; 05-30-2013 at 10:15 AM.. |

Haha no way. I grew up in White Haven. Good old NE PA - I basically did the same and moved all of my stuff to Austin. Anyway, GLWS!
