PDS @ TWS 30 Jun and 1 Jul...who's in?
I know me and Thundermoose...plus one lurker in a white E92 have signed up. I'm Saturday only right now.
Who else? They're running clockwise BTW.

If I can't get in with TDE the weekend before (probably way down on the waiting list) I'll be there. With new pads too.
Rick probably won't confirm I'm out until the 21st or so, so I'll wait until then to sign up. |

Not sure if the 330 is going to make it. The software still isn't right. Remote tuning doesn't go as smoothly as one may believe. Still managed a 2:07 shifting at 5k rpm last weekend!
So I may be bringing the M3 out.

Here is a trick for the heat (assuming you have a problem)
Turn on the defroster, turn off A/C, set temp for 85F at full fan. That seems to allow me to run a full session without overheating. Otherwise I get maybe 8 laps before it goes into limp mode. Mind you this is what I have to do to maintain 1:57ish lap times with a passenger/student, which requires keeping the car close to redline nearly the entire lap and my left foot braced against the a pillar. |

On the contrary...if you forget to turn off your A/C you'll get a couple of laps before the car pulls the redline down.

Nice running with y'all today! Turned out the be decent weather so the M3 survived. Best time was a 2:03...pretty happy all things considered. Shooting for 2:00 next time at TWS.

We had more rain on Sunday, though not hard enough to create puddles in Turn 1. I ran two sessions back to back in it with DSC off - what a blast! The guy in the red GTR said he had a lot of fun watching me skipping through 1. Of course he dropped me like a stone immediately after. My next TWS event is with TDE in October (CW again). On the waiting list for the Yellow group though. |

It was great running with you guys and getting lots of free advise. This was only my second event, and so I'm very happy with having passed my solo check ride on Saturday. I will need camber plates and some new rubber as my stock pilot sports are excessively worn on outside edge from two weekends of abuse! I'm looking forward to the next PDS in August.

Generally, I'm a lot more confident in the turns with my 330. Just have to worry about the engine blowing up again from my tune. The biggest difference are the brakes. I know I can beat the brakes on my 330 up and they'll stop. So I generally brake later for every turn in my 330. For sat, I ran with the OEM pads in the M3...while they worked, the brakes weren't exactly confidence inspiring. I have more issues with the rear end getting light under hard braking in the M3 since the brakes are so damned grabby. So I tried not to brake so hard into T15 to keep the rear planted and then this happened... Yeah, didn't use all of the track! Quote:

Nice seeing you again! Yeah, camber plates save tires.[/QUOTE]
Yes, I will get a re-alignment in the meantime until they come out with the new plates you recommended. I just ordered a pair of the Schroth Rallye 3 harnesses in red.
