Can you get an m3 for $900 a month?
Just wondering if I could have gotten an m3 for $900 a month. Options dont matter, im just curious.
I didnt put much down on the 335, so its like 800+ a month for 5 years at 1% financing. But I have a bunch of options. So I was wondering if I could have gotten an m3 for that price, probably a lease with less options. edit: I just checked bmwusa. I could have gotten a base m3 coupe, 10k miles a year for $935 a month. Thats with zero options and msrp. I probably could have swung a lease for $900 a month with some discounts, since most m3's are for invoice. edit: Kbb has my car value a few k higher then I owe on trade in and many k higher on private party sale. I bet that I could easily trade in the 335, maybe have a grand or two left over and lease an m3. Not saying im gonna do it, but I like the fact that I could. Thoughts?

That is such an open ended question? What is the msrp? Buy? Lease? How much down?
It seems like must people who lease are paying in the $1000-$1200 range, and most people who buy pay $900-$1100. It's TOTALLY apples to oranges though. I feel like the only way to get at around $900 would be to put alot down and or find a totally stripped down M3, but what fun would that be?

They had really great lease rates for the left over 08s. Maybe look into taking one of those leases over?
Heres one. http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=305275

I doubt you'll find, let alone want a stripped M3. So say you just get some of the basics like prem, and tech pkg on a remaining '09. Depending on your dealer/area you live in you can probably get that car for invoice.
So now you're talking say $60K, with the $HIT mf's and not so hot residuals, with a pretty standard drive off of say $2K, my guess is you're looking at a monthly of somewhere in the $1k range. Get the 335i and mod the hell out of it

Lease take over is the best way to get lowest payment.
I didn't put much down either but I got mine for about 6k down / 850/mo.

Are you paying $800/mo for a 335 lease? ouch... I don't think you could have gotten into a new m3 for close to that but still... when I was running numbers with $500 to $1000 over invoice with all the incentives it was between $660 and $700. Or is it a purchase? If you really want an m3 cheap then keep your eyes open for lease transfers here.

I'm paying less than $900 on my m3 but I also had to drop down $500 for lease transfer and $840 for new tires and so on... it adds up It's possible, but not with a new m3. Gl of course. Keep in mind the 335 is an amazing car

And I love the 335. The awd is awesome and im sure will get me up in the mountains to go skiing this winter. The insurance is low and it gets good mpg. I truly love the 335, im just semi-delirious right now, lol. The funniest part is, is that im a super slow driver. I hardly ever track, im always going the speed limit. I always have modded up cars and never even scratch the surface of their potential.

You got a 66k m3 for only 799 a month? Wow, so my goal of under 900 a month is possible?

Overproduction of m3s given the market decline. To move them, BMW offered high residuals and extremely low mf.

Just spoke with David on the phone. Early guess is around $950 a month for an 09 m3. Will talk to him in person on monday. Thoughts?
