Carbon fiber roof maintenance?

My lease on my 08 E90 M3 is up in a few months. Looking to get another M3, probably an E92 w the CF roof.

Just wanted to see for all those who already have the E92 w the CF roof, if there were any problems with it? Was it a problem to fix? What am I to expect in terms of maintaining and making sure it doesnt get damaged, etc.

Thanks for your everyones help! Glad to be a part of this site!

It's just a roof...not really much that could go wrong with it. Just take care of it the same as any roof.

That's obviously an isolated incident...either manufacturer defect led to premature peeling of the clear coat or owner neglect. Either way, that clear would need to be stripped down and resprayed. The CF underneath looks fine.

You have nothing to worry about. Clean it, polish, wax, just as you would with a metal roof.
