sorry dude, i don't have the security clearance to mention it. but it isn't BimmerFest east...

i hope the organizer can pull it off. Said organizer is supposed to reveal the event soon...at least that is what he said. He wants to keep things hush hush for now.

I got a feeling this will be a Fail since its really a retooled Club event, Lets not be delussional; nothing will match the West Coast Event so lets not even pretend,
... but its in the trying that we win.

who's ever idea this was would have had more respect by naming it differently

Let's hope you're wrong about this event being a fail. I happen to know the organizers for this event and they span from multiple forums... I'm actually glad they kept the Bimmerfest name... for the longest time people have been wanting a Bimmerfest out east.

Considering there have been more Bimmerfest West events versus Bimmerfest East events, I don't expect the Bimmerfest East event to right off the bat match the West event, but I see this as having the potential to get better each year and not only match but possibly surpass the West event... who knows!

West Coast has alot more going for them as enthusiasts than us East who hibernates half of the time

A Bimmerfest East is like Poster who owns 2 //M cars, both older version at that. When it makes more perfect sense to sell both since they are worth one new M3.

like this Bimmerfest you are having an identity crisis, you an Nivea323 deserve its other. LOL

folks, lets please keep this thread on topic and allow people, such as myself to be optimistic about this event. Most of us on the East Coast are happy that events are happening this year.

pocketrocket, while i can't compare to east vs west coast numbers of BMW enthusiasts, the east coast has its fair share. Additionally, while we or (I) have nothing against you personally, i think it would be best to take your myopic views elsewhere.

so lets not start a thread war

I am looking forward to attending. I have never been to a west coast event so the comparisons are irrelevant to me. I am just happy to see an east coast event close enough for me to attend.
