I was at New Century yesterday. If you are serious about buying one of those M3's I doubt you'll have to pay any markup.

My CA Tim Cunningham offered me their sedan at MSRP (I'm not interested in the coupe) but, it's black and 6 speed so I didn't pursue it. I'm going to test the DCT when they get it in and make my decision then.

for Tim C. at New Century in Alhambra! Even though I've had a deposit down at an out of state dealer (for almost 3 years) I will likely buy my M3 from New Century... they treated me the way I want to be treated, allowing me an extensive test drive of another car I needed to rule out. Great dealership, no pressure, no salestalk. If anyone's interested in one of those M3's, give Tim a call and see what he can do.....

The $10k mark up almost sounds reasonable compare to the others with $20k and $25k mark up. Man i love this car, espcially in AW.

gas guzzler tax is charged to cars that exceed a certain MPG limit. i.e. the M3 gets shitty gas mileage so the gov't places a tax or fee that you have to pay as compensation. i'm not sure on the exact criteria, but i know that it is tiered so that you pay more for worse MPG. google can probably tell you more...

One of the showroom M3's was sold earlier today. The guy paid $7500 markup for it(according to a sale guy). It was an AW coupe with 18's.

I was in Pasadena on a Sunday evening. How many times have I been to Pasadena on a Sunday? Maybe twice ever.
