Who's running stretched tires on their M3's???

Im still having some issues deciding on the right tire sizes for the wheels im putting on my car...

I want to stretch but noting crazy since i still wanna keep it "function over fashion".

18x10 et11
18x11.5 et11

I was gonna go with 225/40 & 265-35 but this might be too small on the car...

Would 245-40 & 285-35 be a better choice???

Im looking to have advice ASAP since i have a good deal on some tires and i dont wanna loose it if i decide to go with 245-40 !!!

Did you get the wheels yet? I feel like stretched tires on 18s on the E9x are just way too small in general.

Not too sure about the rear, but I've run 225 on a 10" wide wheel on my old VW and it was pretty stretched.

If you haven't bought the wheels yet, why not try 19s?

wheels are in the mail at the moment i bought them for my e46 but now i have switched for an e92 !!!

i just bought a pair of 245-40 for front ill see how it goes

225 on a 10 is way to much of a stretch. I ran a 245 on my last e46m with 275s on the rears with a 19x11, and even then I thought about doing a 285. I would recomment 255 up front with a 295 rear but your front is already going to b a bit to aggressive for the e92 front end.

265/30 and 285/30 you'll be fine with those offsets and tires if you run proper camber. shouldn't need much. tires won't be stretched too much and it will be a little easier fit with them and the camber.

245-40 are ordered and now i need to choose between 275-35 or 285-35 might have found some used RS3's for a good price in 285-35 so they might be my final choice !!!

Offsets are more aggressive than what's already considered 'aggressive' for the e9x M3.

those offsets were considered aggressive on the e46m3... on the e92 it should be less aggressive no?

255/40 on a 10 A) isn't that stretched and B) is actually well-supported but not stretched fitment. Most 255/40's have 10" rims in their recommended width range.

No because th e46 does fit wider wheels under its fenders than a e9x

1. Wheel offsets are WAY off

2. Why would even consider putting a 225 up front when stock is 245?

If you want some stretch, and still have proper function, go with 18x10 ET25 up front and 18x11 ET25 rear. Tires can be 255/40 and 275/40.

OP, I'm kind of in the same situation. I'm running a pretty aggressive offset (I don't know exactly since the manufacturer doesn't release offsets) on a 9.5" wheel upfront. I had originally got a package in which the front wheels came with 275/30/19 tires. No good.

I've swapped out to 245/35/19 in hopes that this should do the trick.

It gives you SOME help in deciding where the tires sit on the wheel.

What kind of moronic wheel company would sell wheels without providing offsets? It can be measured. It's like a tire company not specifying size. It says please don't by our product we are dumb.

Well, from my measurements, I'm at ET13. The company tries to be all exclusive with it, claiming that they can fit your wheel for a custom fit, blah blah.

I just really liked the wheels...and, they were a good price.
