Too bad you couldnt make it. Was a really good day and the last session of the day was fun working my way through traffic. Few of the guys stayed and ran today too, but wanted to make it back at a good time so left after breakfast. |

That's for sure! The day was just super fun. Quote:

This track day had everything! Corded tires, a wheel falling off, Mustang ballet (no one could go off with more style!), a few other offs and there was some amazing driving in between. Today was funny too. A Z06 went off in front of me at 14 just like the Mustang and I almost went off cause I was laughing so hard! You better look out STALKER, I got new gloves. Easily worth another 15hp! Last edited by sawzall; 09-24-2012 at 04:28 PM.. |

^ You were really flying! From your lines I can already see a few things that would shave a few seconds off my laps. The double-apex line through temptation really is a lot faster, and through 12 the tight line is definitely faster. ALM3 showed me the same line line through 12 the next day, and I closed in on the Viagra Yellow GT3 super fast. Your line through 14 is much tighter than mine. I really struggled to get power down through there, my car just loves to oversteer there.
Here are a few of my laps from the Sunday. Last edited by sawzall; 10-21-2012 at 02:46 PM.. |

^ Nice vid! You were getting around really good. Such a fun track. Not having been there for a couple of years it takes time to get your bearings again. Wished I would have stayed for Sunday but wanted to get back. I was going fairly good, but you can see i was lifting and braking early to conserve my brakes (was too lazy to put my track pads in and my rears are pretty much done). I could have carried more speed through a few corners for sure. In an earlier session with no traffic and pushing harder I was 4-5 secs a lap faster. That session was fun as I really made my way through a bunch of cars. Had to trim the video as it was too long for youtube.
I think we should plan to go there for Oct 22nd weekend as well! |

Yup, there are GT3 and GT3RS. And on that note, you better make a move on one - you've already been bumped down on the order list at Downtown by one |

You can't take a break from being a hero and saving peoples lives. LOLOL.
It was a pretty sad track season for me this year, I think I only got out to 5 events.

Shizzle was saying you are embarrassed that you are so slow that you dont want to go to the track anymore. Heard you were trading in the M3 for a Prius so you could save money while being a hero and saving lives. |

I realized after I was also running with the a/c on all day which probably didn't help my fuel consumption! I was going through a lot more gas than Al! |

Learned my lines over the years from various guys including Duncan, still need to work on some of the corners for sure, but overall it felt pretty smooth. The pads were great, much more confidence braking hard and no sign of fading, etc. I installed the shims off your old pads along with lots of that purple goop and so far hardly any noise on the street. |
