e92 Manual to power seat conversion

Anyone have any experience with this? I am debating doing the swap. Is it plug and play?

Guys, did you ever determine if this is doable? And if so, what does it entail? Thank you.

This would be a waste IMO. I adjusted my power seats where I liked them and left it. They are significantly heavier as well.

Power seats are invaluable if more than one person drives the car (particularly if they are different sizes).

Is it just a bolt in install? I would assume the memory function works as well or does the car need to be coded?

Reviving a really old thread because I have the same question. If I have manual seats and I want memory seats, is it direct cluck and play, or is there additional wiring required?

Let me compare the wiring of the electric seats I have in my garage when I get home. I do have heated manual seats though.

I would not advise the power seats though. they don't get as low, generally more annoying if you have a coupe, and they weigh a lot more.

I've tried swapping the mechanism (diff leather colors) but it proved to be more difficult than I was interested in getting into
