There was a really cool "technology meets brute force" type of feeling with the ///M, and I doubt I'll replace that. This is a completely different infatuation with the styling of the AM. I was supposed to own the M until it was time to buy the Tesla X and trade in our 911 for it. The M would be the sportscar in the family. That didn't work out so well thanks to the poor sap who plowed into me. LOL

So this will be a short love affair with a car that, hopefully, I'll not lose any money when the time comes to sell.

It looks black, but when the light hits it you'll see the bronze. It's called Berwick Bronze. Here's another couple of pics that show it better.

That's true. I had the new car replacement coverage and it was pretty sweet. the only issue I have with buying new cars is the instant negative equity. I've always been on top of the payments with regard to equity. That was the only thing that bugged me about my new E93. I loved it, but I think in hindsight I should have bought used.

Looking at used E93 M's available right now the variety isn't that good. So I made a decision to move away from it for awhile and get the Aston. It's worth a lot more than I paid and will hold its value very well for the years I plan to own it. Then we'll look back at the M's to see what we want to do.

hahaha, yeah I posted this after just reading the initial post. I was looking at the other comments and saw you got the Aston, that's a pretty sweet ride bro. Can I ask if there's a big difference in the insurance between this and you're e93? Thanks and good luck with the new whip. it's sick.

Thanks! You know, I expected to get hit with some crazy Lamborghini-type insurance, but it only went up 30/month! We are paying $211/month for full coverage on an 04 911 C4S Conv and this Aston with 50/100/100 coverage. I'm with Liberty Mutual and they've been really awesome with the accident.... so far. I still have to settle the bodily injury portion.
