Spotted AP555's (Arun) silver e90 M3 a couple of days ago, going west on Parker rd (Plano).

We pulled over and started chatting about our M3's.

Wasn't me. I've got a stress fracture in my left foot, which has kept me from running for almost a month now. Sux being a big boy.

I haven't been out there running in several months but it sounds like I should expect to see plenty of M3s...

TLud, pretty sure I just saw you on Waugh turning onto Washington. I recognized the tred on the verdsteins (sp?).

Wife and I were in her black SLK right behind you on Waugh. Love the stance the RACs give the M.

I usually go running at Memorial on a weekend. If one of the 5 E92’s you spotted was black and doing donuts, then that was me

Spotted a friend in a silver e90 M3 w/DCT.

We spotted each other while going west on Park blvd (Plano).

We did a few pulls, and the DCT is FO REEL!!

Nawaaz - is your friend's M modded at all? How close were you guys when pulling - i.e., was the DCT shifting noticeably quicker?

Hi Daniel,

Nah, he didn't have any mods.

He had the head start and I wasn't anticipating him to pull aggressively from the stop light.....Since we were chatting with our windows open before the light turned green.

After I saw him hit it, I then went for it immediately. He didn't pull from me, nor was I gaining on him......Until he slowed down. I guess I just wasn't ready, I don't know.

Oh yeah, did I forget to tell you that I was in 'slow mode'?

(just makin' an excuse lol)

i went for a spirited drive this afternoon (~3-4pm), i was right in that area, plano pkwy/park/parker between midway/tollway/preston, too bad i didn't run into you guys! made a lame excuse to myself to justify going for a drive (to top off a 1/2 full tank) because i missed it so...been garaging it in plano since the meet due to drinking a lot this weekend and this week's projected low temps...i miss the car every day! we'll have to schedule a drive sometime.
