In my 2013 dct I for sure have the same problems, also hear the gears clunking around when I slow down.. Sounds like something is broken but was told its all normal.. Dct works in mysterious ways I guess..

sad thing is im probably more interested in driving than that sort of attention when in the m3. im crazy or old.

Yep, same here with my 2011/E92. I figured it was normal. I have DCT but have driven manuals for a long time. So, I just shift into N when coming to a stop, like manual, then back into D/1. Nice and smooth that way when the wifey is along
