C63 AMG sounds good

I was in a short underpass tunnel today when a C63 sedan behind me downshifted/rev-matched. I hadn't noticed him before he did it, and it scared the crap out of me! I've seen them around town and heard them take off from stoplights, but had never heard one downshift in an enclosed space like that. Wow was it loud!

He had his window down and we chatted at the next light. Nice guy--said that his exhaust was completely stock! Always nice to talk to fellow car guys.

AMG exhausts in general pack an impressive tone.

I would love to have a C63 AMG Black... but at that price id take a 997 GT3 instead.

The AMG C63 sounds amazing, no doubt. Has that deep V8 rumble, very "American V8" sound. Too bad the car is a C-Class with an amazing motor. I always thought that's the advantage the M3 has, much more of a total package.

M3 isn't much different. Last week at a light, some guy asked me what year my car was and if it's a 3-series. I think he was under the impression that the M3 was the latest 3-series body style.

Didn't have much time at the light, so my answers were "2012" and "pretty much".
