The "tune" will remove the warning light. Really more like coding than tuning. But hey, you know.

Just sell your muffler and get a miesterschaft GT2. You'll be nice and LOUD and won't have to deal with hacking up the rest of your exhaust system

Delete cats and get a tune ($1000 - $1200) which will give you more horsepower and mask the check engine light. Or get an akrapovic delete r ($399) which will just mask the CEL. You can get test pipes for $400 to $500 or go for a complete x pipe for however much you want to spend. I have ACM test pipes with an akrapovic slip on and BPM sport stage 2 tuning. I love the way my car sounds and can't beat the looks of the Akra cat back (carbon fiber tips)

2nd vote for the Meisterschaft GT2 (titanium). It sounds so freaking good and loud, + it looks sexy to boot.

It's not coding, it's closer to a tune.

Coding is easy to DIY, secondary cat removal is not.

This is what secondary cat/resonator delete + OEM mod (2 pipes replaced with solid welded on pipes) sounds like.

mega loud raspy, all the time. Sounds rough and not nice IMO.
Fun - yes. Loud - yes. Good sound - no.

There are plenty more other videos on my channel of this combo.

Eventually switched to secondary cat/resonator delete + supersprint race.
Mega loud and drone at 2000rpm. Mega headache bone shaking building shaking bass.

Now primary cat delete x-pipe (hfc secondary cats / resonated) + stock OEM back. Perfect. Stock like at idle and cruise, but mental when you want it. And power gain.

Its the perfect combination for me I think. Its like my first set up, but none of that nasty rasp and rough sounding tone. And can do quiet as well as the loud. Whereas any other would just be loud 24/7.

Still tempted to add a eisenmann race/sport or M perf but the eisenmann would highly likely to drone

With which set up? lol

The one in the video? In that case, no drone at all. Just mega loud scream.

The video is the Secondary cat/res delete with exhaust mod correct? You said you have stock rear exhaust now and it's perfect. Do you have a sound clip of it?

Hey, I really enjoyed all of your video. I plan on just deleting the muffler and maybe remove 2nd cats + resonator.. I know you said the sound will be very rough but I kinda like that . No drones at all wth your old setup? Where do you live btw?

Do NOT use an MPE with any altered x-pipe other than primary test pipes, period.
The MPE with OEM x-pipe is supreme, but paired with an x-pipe is a nightmare. This is coming from recent experience. I now have found an awesome combo with my Gintani catless, four resonator x-pipe paired with the Akra slip-on: rocks!
I will always miss my MPE though
