Seems Like There's Always At Least One Really Bizzare Car At C&C

I posted a picture of the HHR in the C&C thread. It was pretty gross. In October there was a guy with a plywood wing and airdam on his Jetta. Then there was an MGB with the V8 engine set high like an old AA altered in November. The variety and surprise at what shows up really is part of the charm of C&C.

It's well done even though he didn't show our cars.

There are links to Cars & Coffee Dallas videos and photos here: http://forum.carsandcoffee.info/forumdisplay.php?f=87 and nice pics of the February C&C here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/mikem_p...7623367685742/

Ya its well done... not knocking the video. The one from the month before was even better.

I think it was just too cold to get the same results

I didn't take many pics as I was much more comfortable with my gloves on.

when i see cars like that HHR, what gets me the most is how much money their owners must have spent on them...

i barely took any photos at c&c because i was so excited to meet you guys, and then the majority of the ones i do have are very poorly composed, but i have a few decent ones that i'll post up in that other thread tonight.

Ya except it looks like he accomplished most of those "mods" with orange paint and a couple trips to autozone. They have alot of generic crap you can slap on your car.

haha even a piece of plywood (somebody mentioned a wooden spoiler showing up at a previous C&C?) costs *something* at the home despot...hahaha

btw still serious about doing the group buy/install on those rearview cameras, will let you know when i find the right e93...like i said, within a couple months i think...

and finally i've been reading these forums more after meeting you guys but damn it gives me the itch to drive! especially reading about group drives down around three sisters or to possum kingdom...my M is in my garage in plano due to this crap weather that we're supposed to get tomorrow, so i've only driven for about an hour since our meet last weekend...

haha My M3's becoming my daily beater now.

I plan on getting something more special hopefully a few years down the road.

That's why I'm not modding my M anymore......I just wanna save, save, and save more money.

Agreed.

And plus, it's not as dangerous as it could be on the roads.

Don't get me wrong, it's still slippery out there.

Ok fine, I change my mind now.

I was crazy enough to take my M out an hour ago, and I was slippin' and slidin' all ova the PLACE!!!

And so I quickly snuck back into my garage, and hid inside like a little baby. hahaha
