Schroth will not clip in properly????

Nothing is every simple. So, I just received the mini 55/56/57 quick fit harnesses for both seats. The passenger seat unit seems fine, but the buckle on the driver's side looks like this. It will not clip into the OEM receptacle for the lap belt. What am I missing? The passenger lap belt buckle does not look like this. It looks like the regular BMW ones in the car. It does not have this double hole setup.

Humm I get mines today! Ask bigjae1976 about this since he has the same ones. I hope you get it fix soon and let us know. I will check later on today to see if I run into the same problem.

i bought mine from the same place as you. when you open it up, see if yours look like this. my passenger buckle looks right. it will clip into any of the seat receptacles in the car. the driver's lap one is goofy with the two smaller holes versus one big one. the box says mini 55/56/57 as does the belt itself on a sewn in tag, so i don't understand the problem.

Wow I see!, I will check as soon as I get home. I wonder if there was a mix up from factory.

I just checked mines and none of them look like yours. I think there is another piece that you are missing. When I go back home, I will take pictures, but I think there is something that latches on to that line an extension. I could be wrong, but I will check again.

BTW, this are my Serial numbers: driver, black - 16150-56 & passenger, black - 16650-56

I solved the mystery. Schroth screwed up in manufacturing. QC never caught it if QC exists. Label sewn into belt specifically lists mini R55/56/57. Box says the same with the correct part number. Unfortunately, the person assembling it used the old style mini-end versus the new style. Simple manufacturing error. The retailer will get me a replacement and send this back to Schroth. Just another headache though.

I knew it! Damn, I'm good, but glad that at least they will send you another one and know exactly how you feel.
