You use motul 600 right? how often do you flush your system? That stuff requires very frequent flushes if I remember correctly.

The only thing i know about the Dewitt piece is that it's almost 400k. Just like the HD3 Black Pearl Edition Watch. There are so many Great examples of Horological pieces in here that i would absolutely love to own. One day. Heck, i'm still drooling at a few of these watches... ZOMG... a Blancpain 1735. 850k down the drain right there. lol Probably the only Panerai I like: PAM348. Beautiful Ceramic piece but I'd rather spend 160k somewhere else. Ok, i need to stop looking at that thread... damn you Jamie.

a good watch is a better investment than a car. If I had money to throw around like that, i would definitely spend it on a handmade horological timepiece.

Better go soon!... or wait awhile. Its technically hurricane season right now but chances for shitty weather or a cat 3+ storm are much more likely between mid august-mid October. Basically try to plan as far away from the month of September as you can.

I took a look through that watch thread... lots of interesting watches in there, but as you call can imagine, they're too flashy for me lol. Still, I appreciate them.
Let's talk about watches that are within reason. Does anybody know how well Panerais hold their value? |

Panerai's tend to hold their value fairly well if you keep them in good shape. PAM 127s, 232s, 25s, 202s and 217s are good examples of models that are well-sought after.
